Mrs. Annan joined Elevance Health in 2022 and commenced duties as Director, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. In this role she has responsibilities for overseeing DEI Strategic Partnerships across the organization. Her team is accountable for partnering with Business Unit to lead the implementation of business strategies, programs and polices aimed at improving recruitment, development, succession, and retention of a diverse workforce.

Mrs. Annan is a 2000 graduate of Howard University. She earned her MSA in Human Resources from Central Michigan University in 2005. She became a Certified Cultural Diversity & Inclusion Professional (CDP) through the Diversity Executive Leadership Academy in 2021. Mrs. Annan is an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and serves as a member of the International Legislative Action Committee. She has been appointed to several boards to include Director of Workforce Development and Diversity for the Society of Human Resources-Dulles, VA Chapter, Human Resources Advisory Committee for Fairfax County Public Schools, and was recently appointed to serve on the Virginia Chamber of Commerce Workforce and Education Executive Committee. She is married to her husband Kofi, a veteran and graduate of Tennessee State University and they have two children Omari (22) who is a graduate of Virginia State University and Jaden (19) who is a Sophomore at Virginia State University.
